Melissa Ratcliff is a dual elected official, serving on the Dane County Board and the Village of Cottage Grove Board. Serving on both Boards allows her to better understand issues affecting her district. She is the Chair of the Dane County Public Works & Transportation Committee which oversees Highways, Waste & Renewables Department, Alliant Energy Center, Dane County Regional Airport, Dane County Henry Vilas Zoo, and the Public Works Sustainability Committee. Melissa is also the Chair of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Board and the Dane County Broadband Task Force which is working to expand access to the internet throughout the county.  

Melissa is a Paralegal and has worked at Eisenberg Law Offices since 2000. She is married and has two children who attend Monona Grove School District. She is a member of the Monona Grove Optimist Club, Friends of the Cottage Grove Library, and Cottage Grove Area Historical Society.
