Social distancing, wearing a mask, and minimizing travel can have a major impact. Dane County is encouraging people to conduct business with County Departments via phone and email, where possible. Using prevention, we can slow the spread of the disease and protect the most vulnerable.

Alex was born and raised in Dane County and began his community involvement by bringing together a group of students to coordinate local blood drives with the American Red Cross. After graduating from Middleton High School, Alex attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse where he earned a dual degree in Political Science and Public Administration. Alex began working in the Wisconsin State Legislature in 2015 and then organized local campaigns in different parts of the state. Alex has also been involved in his family’s small business, The Little Gym, and a board member for New Leaders Council. Alex currently works as a Communications & Policy Aide in the Wisconsin State Assembly for State Representative Dianne Hesselbein and lives in the Blackhawk neighborhood in the City of Madison with his wife, Katie, and son, Blake.
