Serving her community is Holly's priority both professionally through her work in healthcare and as a Dane County leader and community volunteer. The past two years have been a real test of the resilience, strength and character of our community. We have witnessed courage, resilience and the generosity of spirit. We have witnessed extraordinary strength and leadership in helping our neighbors and each other in times of tremendous need. Holly is honored to continue to serve our community in these challenging times and will continue to be a voice for the people who have trusted her to represent them.
Holly has called Middleton her home since 2008. She relocated to the area from Northern Wisconsin where she raised her children and resided for twenty five years. She is originally from Yellow Springs, Ohio, born and raised in the Dayton, Ohio area, a midwesterner through and through. She bought her home in Middleton, specifically to be near the beautiful Pheasant Branch Conservancy. She loves being part of such a vibrant and active community and is honored and humbled to be able to represent and serve the good people of District 26.
She is a Registered Nurse. She is an active community member, and volunteer, previously serving on nursing committees and councils through her employer, volunteering as a longtime mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County, and serving as representative for her Assembly District for the Dane County Democrats Executive Board.
She currently works as a nurse at UW Hospitals and Clinics and has been employed there since relocating to the area in 2008. She is passionate about supporting and caring for her patients and is proud to work alongside so many talented healthcare professionals.
She is a Mom and a Grandmother. Her daughter Megan is also a nurse and her son Dane is an educator. Her children and three grandchildren all happily reside in Dane County.
Holly's priorities are to build on our community support systems, protect the health and safety of our citizens, help families succeed, support our small businesses, protect our natural resources, expand and protect public lands and work to create an equitable community for all to live and thrive.
